FAQ's of Rebar powder Coating:

Q: How should the rebar powder coating be applied for optimal results?

A: For best performance, apply the coating using an electrostatic spray method onto clean, prepared rebar. Follow the recommended curing temperature of 180C to 200C, and ensure a film thickness of 80-120 microns for uniform coverage and maximum protection.

Q: What are the main benefits of using this powder coating on rebar?

A: This powder coating delivers superior corrosion resistance (over 1000 hours salt spray), high impact resistance, and excellent adhesion to steel. It also offers UV stability, which keeps colors from fading, and is available in multiple finishes and colors for both functionality and appearance.

Q: When is powder coating recommended over other rebar protection methods?

A: Powder coating is ideal when long-term corrosion and weather protection are required, especially for infrastructure, marine, and industrial applications where durability, aesthetic options, and performance standards (ASTM, IS) are critical.

Q: Where can this rebar powder coating be used?

A: This protective coating is suitable for any reinforced concrete structure exposed to corrosive environments, such as bridges, highways, buildings, and marine constructions, providing robust long-term protection and color versatility.

Q: What is the process for customizing the coating's color and appearance?

A: You can request customization in RAL colors or specific custom shades during the order process. The coating is available in matte, semi-gloss, or glossy finishes to suit project requirements and preferences.

Q: How should the powder be stored to maintain its shelf life?

A: Store the powder in cool, dry conditions below 25C, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Following these guidelines ensures a shelf life of up to 12 months, preserving powder quality and application performance.

Q: What standards does this rebar powder coating comply with?

A: The product meets ASTM A775/A775M and IS 13620 specifications or other requirements as specified. It is an industrial-grade solution designed specifically for protective and anti-corrosion applications on rebar.
